Fundraising, the lifeblood of most organizations and campaigns, relies on the passion and dedication of volunteers. These amazing folks are known as bundlers, but at, GoodChange, we affectionately refer to them as heroes, lifesavers and MVPs. Tirelessly going above and beyond during the craziness of campaign season, they open their homes for events, call friends and strangers, write emails, and activate their personal networks to raise critical funds. Their efforts are truly the backbone of campaigns. However, the collaboration between bundlers and organizational staff can sometimes be a challenge.
In the past, bundlers would receive an online fundraising link to share with their networks. Sounds simple enough on all fronts, right? The reality becomes more complicated in the day to day of a campaign. Bundlers need to know if their efforts are working, and in many cases, there are 10-20 bundlers on a campaign.As bundlers seek updates, they often turn to the campaign or organization’s staff to pull reports, which can get hairy for staff, especially if they need to provide several different reports to bundlers, and in this day and age, is a needlessly slow and cumbersome task. The last thing any campaign wants to do is slow the momentum of our heroes by being a bottleneck for critical information.
